Get a good deep tissue massage to help release tension.

Run, swim, cycle or dance at least once a week.

Make a list of 5 things you're grateful for “I am grateful for…” Do this daily.

Practice at least 5 minutes of mindfulness. Thats 5 minutes with of no phone calls, emails, music. Just focus on listening to your breathing. (Hint- set an alarm on your mobile so your not worried about checking the time)

Talk to someone open and honestly, they may not have all the answers but the power of a good listener goes a long way! Contact a friend or counsellor.

Laugh, a lot! Whenever you can! Even if you don’t want to laugh, relax and let it out - even a smile is pretty powerful. Laughing and smiling triggers the release of reward and pleasure hormones in your brain which have a great affect on your emotions and relaxes your muscles. Ever tried to carry a heavy box while laughing? Doesn't go too well does it!? :) Or tried to get or stay annoyed at someone when they've made you laugh? Pretty hard isn’t it!
